The TCL 27R83U is a new 4K gaming monitor backed by 1,152 Mini LED local dimming zones and a plethora of ports. To be offered alongside the larger 34R83Q, the TCL 27R83U also has a 160 Hz refresh rate with VRR support is VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certified.

So 4K in the stupidly small 27" and only 1440p for the 34". What sort of idiots are running the asylum.

Not buying anything at all but 2160p 21:9 or 32:9 144hz+. How are companies still unironically releasing anything else in 2024? 16:9 is a 2010 aspect ratio.

No professional will work on ultrawide display  and this is a professional monitor. I want to buy it and it's excellent for me.  Not to mention that console gaming is majority now and nobody wants ultrawide for console gaming. Deal with it.

Professional displays need insane dpi, and this is what we get here.

I'm excited to see more TV companies step into the Monitor space. Sony took some really conservative baby steps but id like to see more TV color science and processing make its way into monitors.
