An interesting flagship phone battery comparison video has been posted pitting the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the Oppo Find X7 Ultra, and the Vivo X100 Pro against each other. While the X100 Pro is the winner on the surface, it is actually the iPhone 15 Pro Max that offers the best efficiency.

Honestly, not sure if Apple is winner there. iPhone 15 Max is almost as heavy as S24 Ultra and has smaller  screen. Efficiency is what makes Apple not trail behind competition, not what makes them  ahead of pack.

Speaking of battery life, the X100 Pro's endurance was disappointing given the 5,400mAh battery. I was able to get just about eight hours of screen-on time with light usage (browsing Reddit, listening to podcasts), while heavier usage (e.g. plenty of camera usage, automatic photo/video backups to pCloud) resulted in just five and a half hours of screen-on time.
