For the latest refresh, the Steam Deck received an upgrade to a 7.4-inch OLED display, which reaches a remarkable peak brightness of 1000 nits. A burn-in test now shows the disadvantages of such a screen, as burn-in remains a problem on OLED screens.

Why are you spreading misinformation? There was no burn-in, just image retention. I'll be reporting this to Google as clickbait.

This is not true. 

They ran software designed to burn the image in and it affected things way less than anticipated.

There is no burn in through normal, or even excessive usage.

I read the actual experiment and this is a misrepresentation of the results.
