A new rumour highlights the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4's power draw. When an all-core load is applied, the SoC's power consumption supposedly shoots up to 14.2 Watts, putting it well over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3's 12.7 Watt figure.

Qualcomm have officially lost the plot. SD 8 gen 3 is already a farce like SD 815. These are large tablet power draws. SD 8 gen 3 throttles like there's no tomorrow and makes the Exynos 2400 look good. 8 Gen 4 would plumb new lows.
