Bethesda has announced the Skyrim Creations community content marketplace. The content store ships in an update to the Skyrim Special Edition and Skyrim Anniversary Edition, and includes freely-available items from the old Mods and Creation Club platform. Creators wanting to sell items on the new shopfront will need to be verified.

Really? Skyrim in 2023? Really?

Forgetting that I played more hours than I care to admit over a decade ago when Skyrim came out here over a decade later the publishers are still milking the title.

The sad part is that THIS TIME they are incentivizing folks that make mods to CHARGE for them thereby possibly ruining some of the better aspects of their games - the rich modding support outside of Bethesda.

Everything from unfixed bugs, game play life improvements and updated visuals to completely new quests, content and areas have been created for free for years.

Sad to see this chapter close.
