AMD physically cannot supply processors in the same quantities as Intel. The sales ratio is 5:1 in favor of Intel. So any popular AMD processors will a priori be in short supply and the only factor that determines their availability and availability in the store is the price. These are desktop parts, not laptop mobile. Since when has AMD ever had trouble supplying these? There's never been any availability / supply issues for AMD desktop processors ever, afaik. All my friends were able to acquire their AMD desktops CPU's relative shortly after they were announced easily.

Laptop mobile however...yeah, it's impossible, even 12+ months later.

Been trying to figure out why AMD has such low availability of laptop processors OTHER than 7 nm/6 nm 5800 & 6800/7730/35. Is it AMD is using all of their wafer allotments for server & HPC and by default then AM5 desktops because consumer desktops are lower quality binned than server? Or is it that OEMs said 'we want x quantity mobile APUs' and AMD says we can only supply 50-60% of that quantity' so then OEM says 'not interested at that level.'
