Das MSI Stealth 16 Studio A13VG vereint einen Intel der 13. Generation sowie eine Nvidia-RTX-4070-Laptop-GPU. Optisch kommt das Stealth 16 Studio jedoch sehr gediegen daher, womit das Gerät nicht ausschließlich die Gamer in den Fokus nimmt. Ein anspruchsvoller Büroalltag im dezenten Design und abends dennoch die neuesten Spiele spielen stellen kein Problem dar. In diesem Test schauen wir, was das MSI Stealth 16 Studio noch alles zu bieten hat.

Schon ohne Berücksichtigung eklatanter Nachteile ist das Notebook €1725 teuerer als vergleichbare Desktopausstattung. Die sehr hohen Gehäusetemperaturen hätten zur Abwertung als ungenügend führen müssen, statt das Notebook mit 91% hochzujubeln.

Es fehlen Tests zur Abhängigkeit von Lärm, Lüftermodi und GPU-Last-Geschwindigkeit. Man muss annehmen, dass fehlende Vapor-Chamber, Flüssigmetall und vier Lüfter nicht nur die Temperaturen, sondern auch Lärm bei akzeptabler Geschwindigkeit verursachen. Wenn andere Tests mögliche niedrige Lärmwerte ergeben haben, waren offenbar untere Lüftermodi mit langsamer Geschwindigkeit der Chips im Einsatz. Das Notebook ist daher Blendwerk einer kühltechnischen Fehlkonstruktion. 91%? NBC macht sich erbärmlich lächerlich mit seinem Prozentwertungsssystem.

Gut an der Tastatur ist die breite linke Shift-Taste. Was soll der Unfug mit der zusammengewachsenen Enter-Taste? Didqualifizieren tut sich die (nur Chicklet!)-Tastatur durch kleine Pfeil-, fehlende Bildnavigations- und kleine Numblock-Tasten. Eines 91%-Geräts absolut unwürdig.

Maximal 4070 enttäuscht ebenso wie die relativ langsame 4070-Geschwindigkeit. 91%?! Von katastrofal schlechter DPC-Latenz des 91%-Notebooks ganz zu schweigen. Im Freien ist das Display etwas zu dunkel.

Well, look - the forgery with numbers in the Legion 7i Slim review, which was published a few days ago, is obvious.

In L7i Slim, the weight is only 100 grams more, but there is a more powerful processor and the same video card.

What does the author allegedly claim in that review? That the L7i Slim supposedly only makes a marvelous 27.6dB of noise under average load when the laptop draws a whopping 98W. And at the same time, it heats up by as much as 14-15G less!

Now let's look at this MSI - at a consumption of 90W, it makes noise more than 2 times louder, i.e. 34.8dB!

How is this possible? The L7i Slim can't be that much better!

And now about MSI itself:
1. Again, a completely spoiled numpad - than fools in MSI themselves reduce sales at times.
2. The idiotic location of the power plug on the right, and not yet angular, but sticking out perpendicular to the case - left-handers should be furious.
3. Such a high temperature on the case excludes the use of a laptop in a closed form - the used panel, even in a non-working state, has a critical temperature of 60C according to the datasheet.

Again, what is clearly needed here is not an idiotic and hot Intel, but a 7940H or 7845HX from AMD.

Why such a class of laptops - I do not understand. They are 100% unsuitable for work due to a damaged numpad, and for games 4070 is too weak at 2.5k resolution. If there was a 4k @ 120-144Hz panel, it could easily be switched to fhd, but with 2.5k such a focus will not work due to the loss of picture sharpness.

The monstrous price completes the picture, it is not clear why. There is nothing special about this model, even for those who have come to terms with the shortcomings and are ready to consider it - for such a price there should already be 64GB of operational and 4TB SSD from the factory, at least. Or a guarantee of 4-5 years at least.

These manufacturers throw out some models or series in the manner of Apple and Nvidia: greed prevails if only chassis and storytelling trap the stupid. Ideal for gamers! Ideal for creators! AI! The more expensive the better it must be! Confirmed by reviewers!

Wieso gibt es keine massive Abwertung bzgl. dem Tastatur-Layout? Wie soll jemand blind die Tasten "<>|" und "'#" treffen können, wo die an vollkommen falschen Positionen sind?

=> Für produktives Arbeiten nicht geeignet.

Wenn MSI hier Geräte verkaufen möchte, dann brauchen die auch eine Tastatur, die unser Layout hat. Und nicht nur eine US-Tastatur mit anderer Bedruckung.

Hinsichtlich < > | bin ich tolerant. Ich habe die auch mal als Sekundärbelegungen mittels Fn gesehen, was ich auch gut akzeptieren kann. Beides hat den Vorteil einer breiten linken Shift-Taste, welche mir wichtig ist. Ansonsten aber ist das Tastaturlayout wie gesagt miserabel.
