Intel has finally detailed its branding strategy for its consumer Core lineup of processors. Starting with Meteor Lake, Intel will be dropping the generation and the "i" moniker in the name. We will get to see a two-tier naming scheme — one of which includes the Core Ultra range, which Meteor Lake will be a part of.

I honestly wish Intel loses more money so that they can fire the idiots who came up with this nonsense.

Oh so dramatic lol. The naming is fine. Being hung up on such trivial nonsense is truly first world problems.

In fact, under real market conditions of the game and real capitalism, Intel is already bankrupt. It was simply saved by the authorities through taxpayer subsidies. All animals are equal, but some are a little more equal. ;) Too big to fall. =)

Mr Majestyk

Sorry, what's the reference to 10th gen and Meteor Lake????? Meteor Lake is literally 14th gen, it's even in the cpu name eg 14900, the first two digits have and will still be the generation.
