As always, everyone knows Mac is not for gaming but it has the power to play decent games if required.
Speaking of the gaming performances, it is impressive to see how Apple's silicons have improved in gaming with so many transitions from DX to Metal in just 2.5 years since its inception. But on the other hand, the flagship M2 Ultra is still lacking behind the last gen of Intel chip Mac even versus Macbook Pro 16 (5500m/5600m). The latter can natively support DX in the bootcamp to play most AAA games in 1080p-1440p with some tweaks in settings and the use of 3rd-party AMD GPU driver to reach 50-60+fps easily. Optimistically, I expect M3 gen can match the gaming performances of last-gen Intel chip Mac.
