Lenovo always puts some wild prices on their laptops and they are also quite literally always on "huge sale" (about realistic price) so that $3000(+) was just artificially boosted to make the "discount" look more tempting. Crappy tactics but Lenovo is not the only OEM doing that. This laptop's true price was never above $2100 for this specific config.
