Decathlon announces new Rockrider E-EXPL 700 and 700S eMTB pricing

The launch dates and pricing of the Decathlon Rockrider E-EXPL 700 and 700S electric mountain bikes have been announced. The bikes, announced in October, feature a 70 Nm motor and 630 Wh battery, with the 700S having a full suspension system. The first new model will arrive later this month, with prices starting from €2,499 (~US$2,719).

I thought decathlon would remain dedicated to the budget segment...this doesn't look like budget to me.
