Intel has paid tribute to one of its originators on announcing his "peaceful" death in his Hawaii home. The semiconductor pioneer leaves the world his pivotal insight, invaluable contributions and eponymous "Law" on his passing. Moore's career-long dedication to getting more and more stuff on chips has arguably helped propel consumer tech to its current levels of sophistication, performance and impact on our lives.
