Samsung has just started rolling out One UI 5.1 to older flagships ranging from the Galaxy S20 to the Galaxy S22 series. While the OS update works well on the new Galaxy S23 series, there are mounting complaints of various issues experienced with One UI 5.1 on older flagships, such as reduced battery life and other bugs.

I'll wait with my galaxy s20 and keep using Android 11 because it's just fine. If ain't broken why update?

OneUI 5.1 works great on my S22 Ultra. I've noticed much faster display auto-rotation, almost as fast as on S23 (which is instant), nothing else really changed - for better or worse.

S20 SD version.  No impact on battery life.  Didn't notice any performance difference too.  At this rate, it's usable for another year or two.

The bug on my S21 is in the gallery app. The time lapse feature within the gallery app does not work anymore. When I hit the time lapse the gallery just crashes. It simply does not work. Not many people be using this feature hence less complaints, but I do use it and it's broken. The photos in the most popular chatting app that has a green phone icon has recent images show up error. I have to goto the three dots then goto gallery and then choose images to share. Very frustrating.

OK have to revise this one.  Updated the Feb 2023 security updates yesterday and noticed the battery life is worse.  I hope Samsung is doing something to rectify this.

I have the S22 Ultra (SD version) no problems at all, and the same battery life as 5.0, maybe the problem is with the exynos versions.
