AMD's upcoming Ryzen 7 7745HX scores 1,828 and 18,606 points in Cinebench R23 while consuming up to 95 Watts of power under load. The Dragon Range processor offers up to a 34% performance uplift over the Ryzen 9 6900HX and trades blows with the Intel Core i9-12950HX.

It's a direct copy of Intel's HX "put desktop chip in chonky laptop" strategy, so I don't know what anyone is expecting. That said, the single-thread performance is lagging behind the Raptor Lake version unless the 16-core has higher clocks or this is an early result.
