A rumour from the South Korean tech forum Meeco says the Exynos 2400 has been approved for mass production, with samples ready to be delivered by June 2023. It will be Samsung's largest chip so far and is being closely monitored by TM Roh.

Samsung just overclock all mobile chips to get better results at expense of battery 🔋 life. It is cheating and fraud. I hate battery 🔋 life on Samsung phones due to overclocking. Even Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 they have overclocked to be marginally better than the competition. With no means to remove overclocking , I will never buy Samsung again.

S23 ultra battery tests so far are better than other 8 gen 2 phones almost on par with iphone 14 pro max about 10 minutes difference

Also I just searched and s23 has light performance mode setting like fold 4 had which u can save battery life with but still high performance as it reduces the clock speeds a bit. Fold 4 light mode was like non plus 8 gen 1 performance but with better battery life without disabling 120hz like normal power saving mode so with that feature u could possibly even beat iphone battery life if you dont need the maximum performance

Samsung whatever great technology you develop, please dont use your customer as guinea pigs especially your flagship products, only release it when it has been thouroughly tested to be *clearly* better than the competitions, so far all recent Exynos release turned out to be hot air.

I welcome choices but to fragment the nomenclature into "performance/gaming","default/adaptive","light", and battery saving from then on is like vain attempts to sound smart, they should go with something with better continuity and make it clear what the actual changes in parameters are for each setting.

Actually true, my A12 Nacho's GPU went from around 700mhz to 1.01GHz, higher than ARM Recommends to set (which is 980mhz) after updating from Android 11 to 13 but (feels like) they underclocked my phone's cpu and worse of all, Knox Boot up tries to emulate 4 out of 8 efficiency cores to be performance ones which is strangely bad.. (do a bug report and check Knox log)
