PlayStation 5 standing position liquid metal leakage is a case of concern getting lost in translation

There have been heightened concerns recently following a discovery that standing PS5s may be prone to liquid metal leakage and eventual console failure. However, the original report has been now retracted as it was a misunderstanding of tweets from French repair shops. The problem can occur only if the PS5 has been manually dismantled affecting the liquid metal barrier and normal use in any position should pose no issues.

Even this article you posted trying to correct the mistranslation still screws up what they're saying. If the ps5 is in the box standing vertically not being used then it's fine. The problem still exists using it vertically. So rather don't tell people they can run it safely vertically cause that's not the case.

You literally link the tweet that says "NOT OPENED BY OTHER REPAIR SHOPS", I don't know how you've gotten your wires so crossed. The problem happens to UNMODIFIED UNOPENED CONSOLES. Please revise your article instead of spreading misinformation.

I have actually seen a video of a guy repairing PS5's and the were not opened before. They still had the security sticker on them and they had this same problem. The liquid metal doesn't leak out of it's place but it does move to one side of the APU making it not work anymore and these have NEVER BEEN OPENED BEFORE and still have the same problem.
