The sleek electric car from the Michigan-based manufacturer is supposed to compete against the extremely successful Tesla Model Y and Model 3, but it has now lost the recommendation of the influential US publication Consumer Reports due to its allegedly lacking reliability.

Noted: Don't buy the first ~10 years of an "E-" model. Ironically it's not even the battery or engine systems on these devices, it's basically interior fit, suspension and infotainment, something I believe manufacturers nailed down in the 60's? Ah dials, comfy bucket seats. Remember the days?

Consumer Reports and other auto mags should NEVER recommend nor award "car of the year" to a first year new vehicle. There's always issues the first year, no matter the make and model. Instead, award for "best new design" because that's all you can be certain of, the design (and that's subjective, too).
