Nvidia was supposed to sell compute GPUs worth US$400 million on the Chinese market last quarter, but the US economic restrictions prevented the profit realization. Under these circumstances, Team Green is now forced to commercialize the original A100 under an A800 rebrand for the Chinese data center market. Something similar could happen to the H100 models.

Oh yah, I think this is so so going to slow down the Chinese technology advancements. The Chinese built their much advanced Beidos GPS/Hypersonic missiles/moon landing/Jet fighter/aircraft carriers/mars mission/high speed rails system/5G... by not using the American technology exactly because they understand their enemy.

Everyone is cheating the bans so...

Starting for example with an Italian company processing Russian oil and sending it to the US.
Or Russian product going to China/India, then being resold to Europe.
Even Russian gas going to Ukraine (yup, this is still going on) and being resold to Europe.

They are all cheating.
