Radxa ROCK 4 SE: New Raspberry Pi alternative arrives with M.2 M key connector

Radxa has introduced the ROCK 4 SE, a single-board computer (SBC) that drops the 'Pi' from its model name. Still designed as a Raspberry Pi competitor, the ROCK 4 SE relies on a Rockchip RK3399-T chipset and is orderable for £73.34, including VAT.

RK3399-T has 6 cores, not 4. 2x Cortex-A72, 4x Cortex-A53

Yours might have dropped the Pi from its name (photoshopped?) but mine, bought from Okdo last week, hasn't.

It's a good board, except for the uSD stick-out (sorry, can't seem to attach the photos after writing the post) This is with a Pi3 case. Does the actual RPi3 have the same snaptastic micro SD card stick-out as this? Either the card or the socket are asking to be broken. I can't roll out a product like this.
Wayland performance is very good.
The CPU runs pretty hot though.
It would be nice if Okdo offered some cases. Some other RPi3 cases don't fit at all.
Of course if you want to use the m.2 slot you will need a completely bespoke case.

This 6 core RK 3399 has been out since 2016.   Let's see more boards that have the RK 3588 instead.   The RK 3399 has no embedded NPU on board, where as the RK 3588 is and Octa core CPU, and it has an embedded 6TOPS NPU.
