Intel Raptor Lake will feature a faster, overclockable iGPU, which should bring its performance on par with that of an AMD Radeon RX Vega 10. A leaked Raptor Lake SKU list indicates that the Core i9-13900K will have an all-P-core boost up to 5.5 GHz and a single-core boost of 5.8 GHz along with specifications of other K, KF, F, and T SKUs.

But RaptorLake has the same iGPU as AlderLake. Article is copy-paste replacing Alder with Raptor from previous year?

intel hasn't got any catchup to do in the igpu simply because the igpu in the desktop parts is the same as in ryzen 7000 series, just a gpu to have monitor signal and do some basic stuff. Btw, the ryzen 7000 igpu is a bit slower than the 12th gen igpu with 32EUs and that is the comparison to make.

where they do have to catch up is on laptop igpus, but that isn't the topic of this article.

Poor folks or retro enthusiasts will game on the iGPU, after grabbing discounted office PCs with such chips like the i5-13400 or i3-13100. Any improvements to the iGPU are appreciated, but it seems like Meteor Lake will be the generation to bring any significant gains.
