Tesla has new licence plate frame models in its store with 'satin black' finish which include an exclusive 'Powered by the Sun' model. The new number plate frames are for the Model Y and Model 3 and cost US$40 a pop.

Unless these are only sold in a select few countries, it will provide an interesting experiment to see just how many people are deluded into actually thinking their Teslas are solar-powered or otherwise fossil-fuel free.
