Samsung advertises the Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro as being particularly slim, even more so than the Apple Watch Series 7. However, it turns out that Samsung's marketing is way off, as are other companies. The Galaxy Watch5 Pro is a special case though, with Samsung underestimating its actual thickness by over 40%.

So their biggest competitor measures and markets the exact same way. Shocker that Samsung would use the same measuring method 🤷
