The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 disappointed in most gaming tests due to its heavy throttling, poor efficiency, and bad thermals. Its replacement, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, has now been put through a gaming test and looks the real deal, even outperforming the A15 Bionic on the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Are you guys serious? You're comparing 1600p to 720p? Of course the M1 can't compete with framerate in isolation. Please don't be ignorant with other factors such as resolution. With low render settings (which are still higher than mobile devices) the M1 can sustain 100 - 120 fps.

MaxTech averaged 75fps on their iPhone 13 Pro...so the results  seem odd. Also, iPad Pro M1 can sustain 120fps ar least for some amount of time so even though that doesn't mean the new Snapdragon chip is bad by any means, it neglects the fact that the Air got a weirdly poor result for a device that uses M1.

This is a meaningless article. When comparing frame rates, don't you think pixel count is important? Are we really to believe the iPhone SE dominates the iPhone 13 Pro Max?!
