The Triumph TE-1 is supposed to convince sporty riders with its respectable performance and comparatively long range, but the British motorcycle maker has yet to share any details regarding the release date and price of its upcoming all-electric two-wheeler.

They are getting there.

This one looks nice at least. The weight is under 500, but the range is short again. It would be a great fun commuter at least.

Performance is ok. Not as fast 0-60 or 0-100 as my Brutale 990R according to specs. I felt that when I test rode the LiveWire. The bike had good acceleration, but was just a bit noticably slower to 60mph.  It'll still win the red light dash against the cars though!

Looking at the photo I instantly see the outline of the Kiska designed KTM Superduke 1290 with a splash of Ducati Streetfighter V4 headlight thrown in for good measure. Body cladding is different and who knows what's underneath. Unlike many, I happen to think the latest 1290 Superduke is one of the coolest looking sport bikes money can buy.
