Intel has been quite open to strategic collaborations ever since Pat Gelsinger stepped in as CEO. Some upcoming Intel processor models are scheduled to be produced in part by TSMC, but Gelsinger's recent visit to South Korea could hint at an Intel - Samsung collaboration on angstrom-era technology.

Seriously, can we stop regurgitating such misinformed nonsense about "nm" being a measure of anything regarding chip fabrication?
If you actually read up on the history of lithography and fabrication, you would know that "nm" has ceased to be a measure of any feature size ever since the FinFET era. Only older Planar transistors measured their feature sizes to derive a name for a particular node.
Come on, a simple read of an article such as "semiwiki.com/semiconductor-services/ic-knowledge/310900-can-intel-catch-tsmc-in-2025/" will already tell you a lot about how much that "nm" means anything. It was only kept around for marketing purposes and for continuities sake.
This author has made this mistake repeatedly and continues to state it as fact. You call this tech journalism? Sigh, if only your articles were as good as your in-depth reviews. How disappointing.

Bought a Huawei Matebook with Win 11.  Kept Win 11 permanently offline while dual booting Deepin OS to use as online.  Been happy and impressed that Win 11 shall never spy on me (send mined data back to server) or force updates on me again.

Hope Huawei and China get their shiet together soon.  The world no longer needs Windows.  Huawei and Chinese Fab CAN come up with solutions to rival Intel.  They're the best in 5G and design(ed) the best ARM CPUs (Kirin processors).  The world seriously needs an alternative to Intel/AMD plus whatever Cartel...
