I Don't get it its a new phone and its not 5G why? Dose it Coste that much to have it 5G ?

It costs about $60; there's a 5G version available in the US, as mentioned in the article, but it uses the MediaTek Dimension 700 5G. The 4G version re-uses once again the Exynos 850, a SoC that debuted in 2019 and was already underwhelming back then. The 4G version goes for $189, the 5G version goes for $249, which pushes it above the sub$200 range.

Just in case it wasn't clear in the previous post, the 4G/5G modem in both versions is integrated in the SoC.

On a related note, I don't really see this phone as the beginning of a new era, the SoC kills any kind of improvement that they have made on other aspects of the phone. Samsung needs to stop using its Exynos SoCs, it'll never be too late, even Unisoc has proved to be more competent at designing ARM solutions than Samsung.
