US retailers have started offering the PN63-S1, ASUS' 0.9-litre mini-PC. The ASUS PN63-S1 starts at US$329 with a Core i3-1115G4 processor and rises to US$619 for the more powerful Core i7-11370H. All prices are for barebones systems without storage or RAM.

Ugly unit. Totally misshapen sprinkle of ports. Cheap should not mean 'ugly', ASUS.

These mini PCs have been having long lead times in the US.  Same thing happened last year - placeholders at several vendors with a price, but no estimated ship time.  Was the same with Intel, Asus, Gigabyte, etc.  Just couldn't get them. Even heard from one of the vendors I talked to that even Intel employees couldn't get 11th gen NUCs last summer.

I needed a couple so I ended up having to order them from the UK as they just weren't available here.  The price was pretty good too - better than the ones in the US that claimed to have them. Just make sure to use your CC's conversion rate as Paypal will screw you. The good news is the vendor was great to work with - very easy process.  They shipped it on a Thursday and it was on my doorstep Monday - quicker than getting it from the west coast by ground (live on east coast). Shipped with US power cords too.

If you need one and can't find them here, don't be afraid to look across the pond.
