Apple introduces watchOS 8.5 for the Watch Series 3 and newer

Apple has unveiled watchOS 8.5, an OS update available to the Watch Series 3 through Watch Series 7. Rolling out now, watchOS 8.5 is over a 500 MB download for all eligible smartwatches.

This is the first upgrade that caused problems. Now the watch series 6 dings every 5 minutes while charging, perfectly fine before the upgrade. Using the same OEM charger that worked perfectly fine while the upgrade got applied, now it dings. .
