Acer Swift X SFX14 with GTX 1650 in review: Swift Ryzen laptop

Acer's 14-inch notebook has the makings of a mobile gaming ultrabook. While 2020 Turing graphics is not the latest and greatest, it offers moderate gaming power when paired with the Ryzen 5000 in the 19mm thick case. The build quality is solid and the display surprisingly good.

Its 2022!!! Acer, ffs, get rid of that fugly, custom barrel type charging port!
Why is it so hard to do?
The same goes for many other laptop makers, who still include barrel chargers in their low to mid tier laptops with less than maximum power draw than what USB-C is capable of delivering at the moment.
If you USB-C can charge it and its no 230W gaming behemoth of a laptop, then go USB-C route, damn it!

The USB type C port on the laptop supports upto 90W charging, so you should be able to completely eliminate the need for the barrel charger. You can also use a cheap 45W while travelling when the discrete GPU is not being used.
