Specifications for the entire Threadripper PRO 5000 series has leaked, AMD's next HEDT processors. The Theadripper PRO 5000 series will start with the 5945WX and will scale to the 5995WX. All Threadripper PRO 5000 series processors will have 4.5 GHz boost clock speeds, 280 W TDPs and support for 8 channels of DDR4 RAM.

Perhaps a bit of research before writing an article would be appropriate if you're not familiar with the topic. Then you would find the 3960X, a 24-core Threadripper with 280 W TDP. It was missing from the PRO range, but it was the base model in the standard, non-PRO line-up. And they all had 280 W TDP, regardless of configuration.

AFAIK the PRO models were OEM-only. And because they use a different socket in addition to being OEM-only, motherboards are a problem. I don't know about Lenovo, but the motherboard I tried from Asus was unpleasantly slow to boot. More like a server. Understandable (since it's essentially Epyc) but not desirable in a desktop product.
