Oppo has revealed the Find X5 series globally, but we are still waiting on OnePlus to do the same with the OnePlus 10 Pro. The latter has finally confirmed that the OnePlus 10 Pro will appear outside China later this month and still with OxygenOS. Pete Lau has announced that OnePlus will not be ditching OxygenOS any time soon, either.

I don't understand the rational where sharing the fast and lean codebase of near stock experience is even compatible with having a bloated version of the OS that drastically departs from the stock experience. They may both start from stock Android, but that's where all similarities end. We already have a codebase for stock Android, that is Google's version -- what exactly are they trying to do here?

Furthermore, it would help if OnePlus returned to doing "not crap" smartphones that withstand the most basic rigors of day to day life (i.e., not bend like a banana when leaned upon).
