Performance clues for the desktop-grade Ryzen 7000 “Raphael” RDNA2 iGPU included in AMD's latest SMU driver update

The latest version for AMD's System Management Unit driver is suggesting that the RDNA2 iGPUs found in the upcoming Ryzen 7000 desktop processors could run at 1.1 GHz, and, according to industry insiders, there could be a lower-end model with 4 CUs that only has a third of the Steam Deck's RDNA2 performance.

People are forgetting the fact that Zen 4 would have an igpu in all their products. Up until now only G series ones had igpu. Maybe we'll see G series one's with more CUs. Like a higher clocked version of H series for laptops. Or we may see amd going for multichip design only and not releasing monolithic G series at all, which would be sad.

G-series already has more CUs. 4 CUs in Raphael if the rumors are correct, 12 CUs in Rembrandt, and likely no less than 12 CUs in Phoenix. They are also effectively the higher clocked versions of H-series and U-series laptop chips, which are all identical in core counts.

Correct. This would allow AMD to boost clock speeds up to 5.9Ghz Single , 5.5Ghz Multi. Also by having graphics in the CPU, would allow to look better against chips from Intel and VIA and other x86 manufacturers. Although it may not be able to beat a 3090TI, I think  I can say it will be sufficient to beat at least a 3080TI.
