Inspired by the mayor of New York City, Belgian official Christophe De Beukelaer has decided to receive his paychecks in Bitcoin. Since he is the first European official to do so and the legal framework is not yet in place, his monthly paycheck of 5,500 Euros will be converted to cryptocurrency (no details available yet).
