The ARM Mali-G710 MP10 has topped a comparison chart of top mobile SoC GPUs in terms of efficiency measured by FPS/Watt. The astonishing chart, created using the GFXBench 3.1 benchmark, also reveals surprising positions for the GPU parts of the Snapdragon 865, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, and Snapdragon 888.

Imho the efficiency benchmark is the benchmark that matters the most more so than any other performance bench.

The problem with that is that decreasing clockspeeds/voltage and making a large die out of a low-power process node/libraries can make an absurdly efficient processor that isn't suitable for real-world usage.

The silicon law is that you always have to choose where to fall in the thermals-performance-cost triangle (A.k.a. Power-Performance-Area)

So, no lab tests, just an app tezt, and these numbers are supposed to be reliable? 🤦 Sorry, but Apple builds specifically for their devices, nothing generic, like these other two chips, will ever touch that.

At the cost of sounding political, take the results with a huge grain of salt, not only for the methodology but because the reviewer is Chinese.
