BenQ recently launched a new gaming monitor, the Mobiuz EX3210U. The new Mobiuz model is targeted at competitive gamers, with a snappy, 1ms response time and a 144 Hz refresh rate.

I feel if you are looking at 4k high refresh monitors  then media consumption and gaming must be the important factors and therefore HDR is important for the media consumption and response time without overshoot is important for the gaming. This doesn't really get there does it? The search continues.

Since when do "eSports" and "supreme 4K HDR image quality" go together?

I mean sure, if you want to play LoL and CS:Go on your 3090, go ahead; it's all fine. But if you really want that "competitive edge" you are propably looking for features this monitor does not have (like 240Hz refresh rate and above, ultra fast real world reaction times, 1080p resolution to push those 240+ frames).

Just to be clear: that new BenQ monitor might be enticing and, after reviews make the picture clearer, might even be a good buy. But this article imo gives the wrong impression to readers.
