The prospect of Windows 11 is strongly linked to mixed feelings at present. However, a study based on approximately 11,000 survey responses from participants who currently use the OS found that over 50% of this group would install the update without delay. Accordingly, 17% of the respondents are now in the Insiders program on the strength of Microsoft's latest launch.

And how many of these people fall into the camp of simply always wanting to use the latest and "greatest," without any actual thought behind it?

As  I can not  use windows 11 on!y pc along with my wife on her laptop and many other people I known who can not no I will not be updating to windows 11 along with may others who will be forced to buy a new pc or laptop after windows 10 bites the dust. my pc is a Lenovo think center that came with windows 7 installed and an option to upgrade to windows 8 ,which did now I run windows 10 pro 64 bit ,the pc was made in 2013  I have had it since 2014 it runs extremely fast but does not meet the requirements to run windows 11 ,I have been told most of the new pcs and laptops can not as well ,it's ok for me as by the time windows 10 is rundown I will probably have a new pc or laptop but not good if you if you have one only a year or two old .

I am not a Linux zealot, but anyone with an older pc and unable or unwilling to buy a new one should consider Zorin OS. There's even a new version (Pro) that you can make to look like the Windows 11 interface. If you don't care about that, just download Zorin OS Core for free. It has a more classic Windows 7 like interface. Once you get used to Linux, you will never want to go back. The freedom it provides is refreshing.
