Microsoft's strict hardware requirements for Windows 11 are expected to increase the demand for new compatible devices, which will supposedly lead to extended shipping times for notebooks and PCs due to the continuing worldwide semiconductor shortage.

Lol, I don't understand what the buzz is?  I'm still on 3rd gen Core CPUs running Windows XP/7/8.1.  Deepin Linux also works well on it and it is the latest distro.  Not to mention it is Windows 11 that is looking to mimic the looks of Deepin not the other way around...

Deepin Linux is copying macOS itself.

Windows fluent design is ok and not beautiful as compared to macOS. The transparency/bluriness is best in macOS and iOS. In windows 11 it is there just for the sake of it (a very dark acrylic material).

But they are using new "mica" material more since acrylic/transparency/bluriness they all require sampling per frame and mica just once which improves performance and saves power.

Transparency in Windows 7 was awesome. They also had a slider for increasing transparency (The best in any OS), but it is long gone. Hope they bring it back.

There are third party softwares for this effect but a native solution is preferred always.

Honestly, Windows 11 is just 10 with some new skin on top + Microsoft ridiculous requirements as always, because if anything, privacy will probably be more reduced than on 10.

10 has come a long way since its early days, where it was really unstable. But it's still not up there with 8.1/7, which had aged really well.
