Lenovo debuted world-first 16-inch WQXGA (or QHD) laptop displays in its latest Legion 7 gaming machine. Its Ryzen 7 5800H-equipped SKUs are now available on the US market, starting at US$1,800. Its Intel counterpart (the Legion 7i Gen 6) has also now been released to the same OEM website.

Fingers crossed that by the time these actually become available I'll be able to afford one... and they won't have been superseded 😅

I've had my 7i model for 2 days now. I love it. Great thermals, great display. I bought the pre-built model , i9-11980hk, 3080 16gb, 32gb ram, 2x1tb drives in raid 0. After about $385 in discounts it was $3156. The pre-built ships pretty fast. My only gripes are the bios is terrible. No advanced bios to tweak anything. Enough people are complaining that may be fixed. Also, no manual fan control. The thermals are good enough that the fan speed could be turned down some to control noise, which isn't real bad but you can definitely hear it. MUX is wonderful!
