Dell has acted quickly in rectifying the issue of missing CUDA cores on the Alienware m15 R5. The machine should now have all its full complement of CUDA cores on its NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 GPU. But, erroneously, Windows and Microsoft Edge warn that Dell's vBIOS update could be harmful to your computer.

QuoteLast week, we discovered our new Alienware m15 gaming system was limiting CUDA Cores on 3070 configurations. We have released a firmware update to help resolve the incorrect setting. Please check out the support page here for the updated vBios.

Yeah OK DELL trying to spin this like it was not done purposely.
We discovered ......oh F off you lying sacks of s***, you got caught with your pants down purposely neutering performance on one of your flagship laptops for absolutely no reason .
Just when  you think AW couldn't make a more   retarded decision they try to make it sound like it magically happened on its own.

These are really ****ty tactics to end users. It's might be like apple to oranges, Apple was involved in the same battery to performance case and we know how that turnout. Policymakers at dell  need to rethink on the cunning philosophies they have. At the end of the day they should be working in gamers/end users benefit
