The Suunto 9 Peak is a GPS-enabled smartwatch with a lightweight and hardy chassis. The device supports blood oxygen saturation measurements via a SpO2 sensor and has a large battery for up to 170 hours between charges with GPS enabled. The Suunto 9 Peak will be available from early next month.

I hope their watches are better than their compasses. Ours lost all the oil because they used an incompatible plastic which was eaten by the oil inside the compass and eventually fell out the bottom  >:(

I have a Suunto compass purchased in 1985.  It saw hard use as a Marine for three years, a Suunto wrist compass acquired the same year used for diving and a Ambit 2 watch from 2013.  All still going strong. Have you tried contacting Suunto?  I am sure thay would like to understand how they can make your compass right.  If the issue is really materials compatibility, I am sure they would want to know about that as well.  Good folks, I would trust my life to their gear.
