QuoteThe Acer Chromebook 317 (CB317-1H) is one of the larger Chromebooks on the market.

Actually, it is the largest Chromebook on the market.

QuoteThe Acer Chromebook 317 model CB317-1H comes with a non-touchscreen, the Intel Celeron N4500 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a single microphone for $379/€399.

Bad 4 GB RAM in the base model. N5100 looks a lot better than the N4500 too.

Thanks, captain obvious. You gonna pay those ~$120 bucks out your pocket for Lindsey, Michael, Shmuckhael, and who-ever-the-f****-else you think would benefit from the upgrade? Cause I don't think their IT departments will!
OFF-TOPIC /s.

Don't actually buy the 17 in chassis. It's an Aspire 1 they launched just now (even mobo's the same). It's... Not very good. Also, suuuuper heavy for a laptop with basically no insides. Same goes to a new Aspire 3 (you'll recognize it by the same faux metallic paint).

You're "trash". N4500 is more powerful than a Wolfdale E8400. And that one ran Crysis on "Enthusiast" preset.
If the kinda websites you go to tax your PC more than Crysis, then you should shoot your webmaster an email, NOT swallow it up. It's not Intel's fault we collectively forgot how to write software.
