Acer's new high-end gaming monitor is finally here. The Predator CG437K has a 42-inch 4K panel that refreshes at 120Hz, Nvidia G-Sync support, VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification and more. It will hit shelves in November 2021 for EUR 1,599 (US$1,947).

Dr.Z

This is a pointless monitor at that price range currently.  The only benefit is the size of 42 inches. People can buy the LG CX 48 for the save price which is better looking due to being an OLED and still has Gsync. It is bigger then the 42 so that might be the only reason I could see people wanting the acer monitor instead.  But picture quality will be going to LG no matter what. They should price this at 1000$ usd. Then it would be competitive. Hopefully they can make a profit at 1000$ because otherwise this was a waste.

blahblahblah

So many things wrong with this article. First, why is Asus providing images for Acer monitors?  Second, and the biggest one, is the monitor described in this article has been out for a while...1½-2 years now?  Looks like Acer is releasing a new iteration of the same monitor...the CG437K "S" with HDMI 2.1 support.  Third, this is a response to the other comment saying the monitor is pointless-  You have no idea what you're talking about.  One could say that you're not even a tech guy.  Probably working a minimum wage job (or just collecting unemployment) and don't even game seriously.  I say these things because this monitor is pointless to YOU.  Any one complaining about the price point and saying an OLED would be better for GAMING...yeah, you're ignorant af.
