SSDs are apparently more reliable than HDDs according to latest study from Backblaze

The study appears to be skewed in favor of the SSDs as these have only been tested for a bit over a year, whereas the HDD results have been collected over the last 4 years. Additionally, the SSDs have been used as OS boot drives, while the HDDs have been used for data backup. Nevertheless, the HDD failure rate appears to be around 20 times higher than that of SSDs.

,,Relatively skewed" .. this comparison should have never come into an article in the first place. Get the same workload abd work time and only then can you compare.
I can make a similar comparison and conclude that men are worse when using a hammer than women as they hit their fingers more often, just avoid the fact that women use it a lot more rarely..

You failed to read the complete article. There's a table for the same workload, and work time is not really relevant because of the "bathtub curve", which is more pronounced on SSD drives than HDD drives.
