Low-power CPUs have advanced so much these past few years that they can even run the latest games at 720p and decent frame rates. The AYA NEO will be one of the first handhelds to run on a 6-core Ryzen 5 4600U Renoir CPU designed for on-the-go gaming.

The lack of Thunderbolt connectivity for AMD CPUs is the reason why I would still take the GPD. The fact that I can use the Thunderbolt for eGPU only when I need it is a steal.

i dislike the usual notebookcheck amd kiss assing, but it ain't true. win 3 performs better in games at the same power consumption, so eat that notebookcheck

I don't understand why people are complaining about lack of thunderbolt for a device meant for gaming on the go.
Sure it'd be great to have that extra option, just like a 3.5mm headphone jack and a micro-sd card slot.
If you want to connect an e-gpu and game, there are plenty of other devices that offer much better value.
If Aya can make a device with that rumoured Van Gogh APU or something similar, it would be great for what such a device is meant to do.

This is such a stupid statement even fo NBC.
The i7 model of the Win 3 ( that the majority of people are ordering ) will pretty much wipe the floor of the AYA NEO.
The only advantage the NEO has is he bigger screen and better drivers.

GPD proves that it is possible to have a portable gaming device with Thunderbolt capability. At this point, I won't even bother about buying a laptop at all.

a$$

Do some actual research holy s***, gpd win 3 comes with thunderbolt 4 not 3. With thunderbolt 4 you can run up to 8k 60hz monitor and minimum PCIe data has increased from 16Gbps to 32Gbps which will help eGPUs peform much better. This article come off like your some fan boy trying to put the GPD down. You dont even know the specs about said device yet its a "aya neo killer". This site needs to hire a new writer and get rid of these ridiculous articles.
