Can we upgrade the RAM? Is there extra RAM slot or is there a 16GB RAM variant of this Laptop?

Yes, it is. Maximum 40 GB combined. There is also one free SSD slot.  :)

Got it two day ago with R7 4700U, 8G\256G. Will add 32gb ram, 1TB ssd and GaN 65W charger in some days. Though screen is compromise it is the best offer under 1000$ and even 1500$ my mind.
