For $269 USD, the HiPad Plus is as close you can get to an iPad or Galaxy Tab experience without paying two or three times the price. However, the glass touchscreen feels fragile and maximum brightness is dimmer than most other tablets.

No USB-C video out, no 3.5 mm jack=not a real competitor

I'm a bit disappointed for the low brightness screen.

But the reason I'm not going to buy it, is the lack of a fingerprint scanner, which is commonly used for 2 factor authentication to home banking services and to access government services, here in Italy.
