The Sony Xperia PRO launches for a ludicrous price

Sony has finally announced the Xperia PRO's price, and it is absurd when compared to the going-rate of modern flagship smartphones. Comparing the Xperia PRO against professional-grade camera monitors puts the smartphone in a better light, but it is still effectively just an Xperia 1 II with an HDMI input.

Better to get a $100 Elgato Cam Link and connect your DLSR/mirrorless camera to it to see on a 12 or 13 inch laptop.

My team has replaced our iPhones 12pro max with the Xperia Pro. And we love it. At least we find this phone extraordinary for the type of work we do.
Let's agree that this phone isn't for everybody. If you think it is too expensive, then it is too expensive for you. I think that is why it's called "PRO".
