Tencent Holdings Limited is reportedly raising billions of dollars to acquire a US or South Korea-based gaming studio. Rumor is that the Chinese gaming major could be looking at acquiring Take-Two Interactive or Electronic Arts. There's also the other possibility that Tencent is raising funds to develop its own GTA competitor.

China is on a roll to buy and control the world's media and therefore its international perception. Kind of makes you think.

Please Tencent, buy EA, or buy any random korean studio. Please just stay away from Take-Two. I can't imagine a GTA following the CCP agenda LoL

Its quite a funny coincident that in the title, 'Theft' has been replaced with 'Tencent' for the abbreviation GTA ;)

Sony cannot afford to buy take two, let alone EA. Hell, Sony couldn't afford tax on a free lunch compared to Microsoft 2T capitalization.

Quarterly report today after market close.

MS will buy Take two. GTA exclusive to GP is unfathomable and yet very probable.

Now it's Amazon, Google and Apple's turn to be rumoured to but someone.

Sony and Nintendo will eventually merge will MS due too lack of cloud infrastructure. But that's won't be for another 5-7 years.

7 years from now. Streaming games will be second nature and the new 3 will include Amazon and Google. MS isn't leaving so...
