Lenovo has announced an OLED variant of the Yoga Slim 7i Pro that was originally introduced last year. The Yoga Slim 7i Pro's OLED display comes in a 16:10 aspect ratio and offers a 90 Hz refresh rate with 100% DCI-P3 coverage and Dolby Vision HDR support. Powering the Evo-certified Yoga Slim 7i Pro is an Intel Tiger Lake processor and NVIDIA GeForce MX450 graphics.

John Smith.

Having 2.8K OLED that runs at 90hz is going to kill your battery life. Even with a 61Whr battery, I would be surprised if it gets 5hrs at 90hz. If I was forced to use this laptop, I would set it to 60hz to squeeze out that extra battery life.

2880x1800? Ugh. So at 2x that drops to 1440x900, way too low. I'd rather have a 1920x1200 screen if they can't go to 4k.

You do realize that if they do go all the way to 4K, then your battery life would be absolute crap. 1440p is the best place, because it has a higher pixel density than 1200p, but not uselessness of 4K. These laptops are freaking 13 inches. You don't need 4K at that size. It's not a 55 inch TVm where 4K actually makes a difference.Macbooks are known for having amazing displays. Guess what? They have 1600p displays. (1440p for 16:10). I am glad that they went with a resolution that is closer to 1440p than 4k.

Yet another version that will not be available in North America (according to the press release).

Cool cool cool

By your logic screen 1920x1200 it's 960x600 screen. In windows you can set 150% percent of scailing - it's your 1920x1200.

Again 50-250Hz PWM...increased fatigue and headaches...no thanks, people don't need that. Plus a glossy screen with lots of glare, further increasing fatigue.

We are waiting for microLED.

"Intel, 61Wh battery"

No thank you, I'll wait for the R7-5800HS with 75+Wh battery and non-soldered RAM like the last year's Yoga Slim 7 Pro Ryzen. Hopefully it gets a USB 4.0 port.

Dumb comment is dumb. Run it at 150% scaling for the equivalent of a 1200p screen real estate, but with significantly improved sharpness.

Personally this device sounds great in most regards - especially that OLED at 90Hz - but I'd prefer a variant with Cezanne for a better price/performance/power proposition. Will be interesting to see if they manage it.
