Here we go again. CD Projekt Red has delayed the release of Cyberpunk 2077 for the third time; this time re-scheduled for December 10. Apparently, the company is guilty of its own ambition this time.

Over-ambition? Certainly. Or hubris. Or a total inability to admit they just don't know what they hell they're doing.

They tried to do multiplayer and had to resort to outsourcing that to another studio and even they are having problems with it. They promised too damn much and then had to remove content when they could not get it to work. They've bragged for years about the size of the game and the map only to downsize it and make it vertical in order to make up for difference.

Wall-running was meant to add a major game mechanic to the whole thing, and something they had been harping on for close to a full year. When it was decided it just was not working, they cut it, resorting in fast travel with cinematic cutscenes in flying vehicles which you could no longer operate on your own -- another thing that had been promised for years.

It'll end up being a shell of what was promised -- we've been here dozens of times with other games and games companies -- but people kept giving CDPR all sorts of support.

They've been caught in several whopping lies. Crunch during The Witcher 3 and a public promise that the same would not happen with Cyberpunk. Then an in-company email which was later made public regarding the mandatory crunch time in order to get the game out by November which has now fallen down a dark hole because they need to "test" -- when the hell have they ever tested anything before? -- all 9 platforms at the same time. AFTER going Gold??

Yeah, right. So when does the Sony and Microsoft certifications take place? CDPR, get your crap together and at least come up with a believable lie.

Does anyone remember that ransom demand following the stolen art work from Cyberpunk? Lots of stuff gets leaked and CDPR got tons of support for announcing the theft and ransom demand and stating they refused to negotiate. And yet no art work was ever leaked. Hmm... Could it be they made up the whole thing? When some web sites and fans began questioning just that, the whole thing just got dropped and never mentioned again.

CDPR are manipulative and a bunch of liars, playing at being a gamin company when they really don't have a clue about anything they're doing. They didn't learn a damn thing from the mistakes they made with Witcher 3. This game is going to be a train wreck.

Why so much hate?No one is perfect, be understandable and grateful, we are still getting a game after all. What's there to complain about? Not happy? Just don't buy the game.

Many people already purchased the game, and before you scorn pre-ordering, attack those who offer pre-orders first.

Learn to recognize the difference between dissatisfaction, and hate. They are completely different things, and being unable to distinguish the difference means you're a fool. It also means you're more likely to spread hate than extinguish it.

It's one thing to be understanding of a situation, but it's another thing to be "grateful" of it. "We're still getting a game after all." No, obviously we're not. Someday, if we're lucky, we will get a game, but it was promised before, and we don't have it now. Learn to interpret the meaning of people's words, please.

"What's there to complain about?"
The person you replied to quite literally stated the complaints. Saying this question is rhetorical would be ill advised due to the fact that it would further solidify how foolish you are.

And, before you can tell someone not to buy the game, the game has to be out first.

Your misplaced positivity is more harmful than helpful. So, if you want to be helpful, stop typing, and wait to see if you're beloved developer proves us wrong first. Otherwise, you just look like a clueless fanboy.
